| :gorgeous: I did a search on our site for this link and I found it mentioned a few times in the past, so I wanted to post the link again here for any newcomers to scope out. I'm talking about how you can see yourself at your goal weight at:www.myvirtualmodel.com You must register, but it is free and alot of fun. Basically, you put in your description (from multiple-choice options) and before you know it, there you are! I found it helpful when trying to determine my goal weight and to see a good representation of how I look now. (You can see yourself at your present weight, change the number, and see how you will look at goal.) Added bonus: there is no cellulite or jelly rolls in "Model Land". My model looks amazingly JUST LIKE ME. I guess I just have standard looks, huh? A friend of mine made herself a virtual model boyfriend! She got to pick out all his features and body type....she just hasn't figured out how to "Weird Science" him to life! LOL Have fun, and be inspired!

| If I look as good as my virtual model at my goal weight, I'll be very happy indeed.

| Thanks for posting this, Maxibee! I forgot, I already had a username and password for this from shopping online at Lands End. That's invaluable for shopping online - you get to see how the outfit would look on you before buying. Even better than trying stuff on in front of a mirror, IMO, because you get the whole, unbiased, view.

| Tara, I may have to check out that Land's End online shopping....beats having to ask my (bored) husband: "does this make my butt look big?" LOL I have read over and over on different sites about people who have "always been heavy" and don't really know how they could look at a healthy weight. I want them to be able to get the idea, too. I have received so much information and support on this site....I want to be able to contribute info and support when I can.

| Very cool. My goal weight makes my model look soooooo thin. Wouldn't it be nice. I tried out different weights also to see. Thanks for the link.

| This was fun. My model also looked very similar to me in size, but she didn't have that little tummy flap that happens when you gain way too much weight. She was also much prettier than me. They had a "younger" and "mature" selection...but I needed an "even more mature" selection. LOL I tend to carry my weight in a most unflattering way--right around my my middle and hips. The model with the + adjustment was a very accurate version of how I look. Sadly, her figure wasn't where I'd like it to be until she was 10 pounds below my goal weight. <sigh>
