Thread: Any Icq Users

I use to have ICQ a few years ago and i was wanting to download it again
so i did this morning
OMG this is crap i got the ICQ lite 4.1
i tried to get in the chat rooms i was told i was permanetly banned?
if i run a people serch i get ... the operation cannot be completed please try later ... thats is just some of the trouble
do any of you have trouble with it
maybe it is just this version

is there a better older version ?

havent used icq in ages donna... i have msn messenger...

i have alot of chat progams on my puter
yahoo
msn
aol
mirc

and all of them are better then this ICQ
i might see if i can find a older version
i think the last one i had was 2002a or b

I have used YAHOO and aol... msnger. i usta get on MIRC all the time.. after our local chat board closed down... or became dead.. now since being married i try to stay away from OPEN chat rooms... lead to .. many problems i have found..

I use ICQ Lite -- I had an older version and it basically "made" me upgrade.

I really only use it to talk to DH when he is on the road though.

I've never used Chat rooms, didnt know they had them... and i didnt know ICQ could ban you either.

well i got rid of the ICQ lite
and loaded the ICQ pro it is some better i guess
i will play around with it on Monday
