DAY TWO of INDUCTION (13 days to go)

Don't have time to write much, but I at least wanted to check in this morning. I am hoping this helps me throughout the day knowing I started off here in the morning. Last night I was craving some carbs in a bad way, but I got through it. Today is a new day, and I will make it today. If I can get through day 1 I can get through day 2. I will report my progress today later this evening. For anyone reading Have a Wonderful Day!
    Start date 07-07-2008

Am I too late? I'd like to join too.

I"ve been on Induction since May 16th, but recently started gaining. So I'm starting over tomorrow with strict Induction and making sure to keep track of my carbs, exercise and water intake.

    Can I join you all?

Hi, I just started last Monday. So, this is my fourth day. I would like to be a low carb friend lol. I been doing alright with everything. I am not missing any pasta which is my favorite. I think it's because I am excited about starting this. I hope to hear from you.

Hi Mercy, and anyone else who might be interested!.... So I started Induction yesterday, July 27 and so far, so good... I am posting to fitday - here is the ink to my profile: http://fitday.com/fitness/PublicJournals.html?Owner=RQQQPx2 - I have done low carb off and on for a number of years and it has always been hugely successsful for me - when I focus, focus, focus and take, literally one-day-at-a-time. first time in 2002 I lost 35 pounds and got to within 8 pounds of goal weight. I am also finding that as I get older, the pounds come off more slowly - that's a drag.

Lastly, I have discovered that it is really important to get your head in the game for this - you have to understand WHY you are in this place and what kinds of saboteurs are chattering at you - especially when you slip up. Lots of great stuff out there!

In any case, if you are re-inducting or going through induction for the first time, feel free to join up and let's be here for each other!

    Hi,

I started Induction Monday and just remembered today that the last time I did it I only lost 5 pounds in the 2 week period. Then, I did the "Fat Fast" for a week because as good as I was for the 14 days of Induction I just couldn't understand why I didn't lose more than 5 lbs. So, I think tomorrow I will switch from Induction to the Fat Fast for the next week and see how that goes.

Is there anyone out there who would like to start a new challenge or just keep on with this one even though it was started a while ago? I just started induction on Monday but plan on doing it for at least 2 more weeks or maybe even months. So even if you've been doing Atkins for a month already or just joined today maybe us "newbies" can have a chat? I've seen a couple people new to low carbing the past week or two and I am still trying to stumble around the forums for advice so it may be easier to come to one place and do some brainstorming together?
    Anyone interested?
