hi there .....
well, i've been around the boards for a while now. but i must confess - i have not been following an LC WOE for quite a while now. i thought my strict exercise routine could help me keep my weight down .... but after a summer of snacking and indulging, the pants are getting tighter, the belly bloat is horrible, and i just don't feel good about the way i look and feel.
(BTW, moving in w/ my carb-addicted BF in may has not helped matters. don't get me wrong, HE is great - but i do NOT need to mimic his eating habits. LOL! i have recognized that preparing dinners will be difficult, however. i have basically told him that when i cook, he will eat what i eat and can add a starch on his own.)
anyway, i've bought and read the SBD book and stocked my fridge. today is my first day. i was reeeally nervous. i tend to become really obsessive about eating "rules and regulations." but i'm just going to do the very best i can. and remind myself that NO ONE is perfect.
i have a feeling i'll be a bit more strict on the carbs than SBD requires, simply b/c i followed atkins about a year ago. but i'm definitely excited about the flexibility of the SBD plan.
eating for today ....
B: two hard boiled egg whites, three slices canadian bacon, diet soda.
S: SF jello
L: plain tuna packet w/ big garden salad (spinach, lettuce, mushrooms, green peppers, brocolli) w/ 2 T ranch dressing.
S: LF mozz cheese stick
D: not sure yet. probably grilled chicken and lots of veggies.
drinking green tea now and lots of water.

taking two courses in the fall. it's stressful and time consuming (as YOU know!), but SO worth it!
