I think our lovely lady Mags will especially appreciate this
My 6 year old gets the Spanish word for the lovely, green fruit, avacado confused with those often surly :eyes: characters, abogados (lawyers.) She was calling the fruit the lawyer tonight while we were fixing dinner.
My 12 year old piped up with her own made-up, spontaneous humor:
(Later, we discovered there are 2 things they have in common.)Abogados and avacados have nearly nothing in common, except one thing. What is it?
They both have a hard middle (heart.)
That was her first answer. The second one we came up with together while she was telling the joke to someone was,
They both have a thick skin!
