Thread: Sad News: Henry Dyhouse

I recently learned that Henry Dyhouse, LCE moderator, passed away April 30th after suffering what may have been a brain aneurysm while vacationing with his wife.

Many of you knew Henry though his significant contribution to this site, helpful advice and encouraging words, and especially for his culinary gifts with the many recipes he created and shared with us.

Henry's balanced, thoughtful, and caring approach added tremendously to the community here and he will be sorely missed.

Please direct prayers, loving thoughts and good energy to Henry's wife and family.

I just read this and I am so sorry! I loved his recipes and insight. Prayers to his family.

OMG!! I cannot believe what I'm reading....and it was a year ago! I just looked over at the "5 a Day the Color Way" thread I started over 5 years ago and it looks like Henry was (as usual) posting there on a regular basis. That man ate healthy, flavorful, wonderful meals daily. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his friends and family.....even though they're a bit late. Henry was what we call "good people", for sure.

Maxi- It was a huge loss, and I know ours was but a fraction of that of Henry's family. But have spoken to his wife since and she seems to have held up well from what I can tell. Nevertheless, good thoughts and prayers for good folks are always timely.

I'm so sorry to hear about Henry. I so enjoyed his positive energy.
