    The workouts are very intense, lots of exercises and reps with very little rest unless you pause the dvd. The plyometrics cardio routine is a really, really hard workout and keeps your heart rate up the whole time.

    that's solid man. But, P90X needs quite a lot of equipment. I guess I'll try Insanity instead

    Insanity is great since it required no equipment, and is great for travelling and working out in the hotel. BUT -- Insanity is a VERY advanced program. I don't know you...but anothe great program for beginners is Slim in 6. It is low impact, only required a single resistance band...and is a great full body workout system that takes you from beginner to pretty difficult workouts over a 6 week period.
