When I make fried eggs, I usually make bacon or ham part of my breakfast. I generally dip the bacon or ham into the yolks. I also like a "side" of cauli or zucchini "home fries."

You could try some of the low carb pita bread. Walmart has a real good one from Joseph's bakery I think it has about 5 carbs for half a loave. Not sure about net though

Sharon -- boy - being sensitive to gluten has to be harder than just LC in general.

How about a ham steak? I love scooping that into the wet yolk.

I found a nice LC wheat bread, that i have about once per week. But i bet wheat is out too, huh?

Just a thought, have you thought of using one of the gluten free cereals, grinding it up, and using it as a base to make some sort of a bread. maybe cooking it in a 9by 13 inch pan, and cut into squares? just a suggestion. also here is a link from celiac.com Bread Class with Alternative Flours by Karen Robertson Looked like a recipe that might fit the bill

Can you have flax seed meal? I made the one minute muffins, really enjoyed it, and suprisingly so did my DH. thinking of losing the sugar, and cook it in a square plastic container , then grill it.

Anytime. Glad I could help I was really impressed with the muffin. Think I will try a savory one, and do a sort of benedict with it.
