HI. I have beentrying to lose the same 10 pounds for the last 10 years. I know it's not alot of weight butit is important to me. I read Gary Taub's book, "Why we get fat" and I totally believe the low carb thing now. I believe I am a carb addict. In the mid 90's when Atkins was the rage I thought it was just stupid. Anyway, I have been faithfully doing low carb for 8 days now. I believe I'm in Ketosis as I felt AWFUL (moody, exhausted) on days 2and 3. I lost 3# overnight the first night! I knowit was water weight but it was still encouraging. Then nothing till day 6- I lost 1 pound. next day stayed the same and the next day (today) I gained 1.5 #. I was devestated. I have been so strict with myself, and exercising......I feel like low carb is difficult but sustainable for me IF I see results. I don't want to quit but why give up the foods I love if it makes no difference.....please help meif you can..........Traceys
