Hi, started yesterday, felt like I ate lots of cheese and other dairy which goes against my "norm" but I lost 1.4! Not a big meat eater, what do you suggest for good alternatives, beans? chickpeas? I love peanut butter! :-)
Also, any good "treats" that are sweet for after meals?

sweets, I usually have a sugar free popcicle or will make sugar free pudding, with a little lite cool whip and then dip fruit into it. these will have a few carbs but not much, enough to satisfy a sweet tooth but stay in range. more or less depending on the type of diet you are doing, you stay away from processed carbs and sugars such as bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. anything high in carbs or sugars. but if you absolutely have to have pasta or bread or rice one day, go for whole grain whole wheat. they will have carbs but it is better for you than white.
