Thread: Oops! I am new here...but got off to a rough start...

Hi Everyone:

I was filling out my profile and there was a place there that appeared to be asking me to tell you more about me..."okay", I thought. So I went on to tell you my sad little story and spent about 15 minutes telling you about me, then hit the post button...it came up and said that I needed to post at least 5 posts before I could post to that place. It took away my post and bummed me out. My question to the administrators is "Why is it there"?
I'll start again by just telling you my name is Judy, I've gained 115 pounds in the last 3 or so years. I'm physically unable to exercise right now and am on morphine for a failed neck surgery. I loved low carb about 9 years ago when I lost 81 pounds and because of low carb, I was a very happy person, enjoying life. The surgery changed my life and I lost my zest for life. Well, I'm here to try and get it all back again! I belonged to a wonderful low-carb forum back then and it was a great place to give and get help. I hope that still exists here! Hello everyone! My name is Judy too. I lost 130 pounds on low carb. It is the only diet that works for me. For me the hardest part is keeping it off. I lost 100 pounds 4 times over the years. Hopefully I will have learned my lesson this time.
I think having a support system will help.
