Do I have to have them on a website and add the web address to get them to work??

now this web site does it for you?? they only let you use demos.....they want you to pay for the good stuff?? Any ideas from any of you where you got your message board goodies and how you have put them into your messages??

Yes, you have to be *hosting* your gifs somewhere online.
You should NEVER link back to a site that doesn't belong to you (if I understand all this correctly).

I have a website and I have a page devoted solely to gifs. Thus, they are *online* but not available to the public (no one can link back to me).
There are tons of GIF sites that will let you use their gifs at no charge if you put them on your own page and provide a link (or button) back to their site).

There are also sites out there that let you use their gifs without charge or obligation. You just have to search around.



The site will let you know whether or not there are any "strings" connected to use of the gifs they have collected.
