So your girls are miniature poodles. Ozzie measures 8.5 inches to his shoulder, he's a toy. He weighs 7.5 pounds. Remember when we rescued him, he only weighed 4 pounds.

Oh Susie! I can't believe it's been that long! Let's plan a thread in his honor here next month, ok?
Very sweet idea, Bren. I think I would like.

Now goddess, our kitties are not pudgy or chunky but "Festively Plump". Learned that from Cartman on South Park!

I love it! We usually say here that Khaki is sturdy. Until recently she was festively sturdy

Goddess,
Your kitties are both beautiful. Sounds like a lot of fun living with them also.... They do develop their own little personalities....

This is Grey Poupon, our Old Lady Cat, whom my MIL named. She thought it was funny, like the commercial, you know? I thought it was kinda ikcy, myself - as if it's what she does instead-eyew!-but that was already her name when we inherited her. I'm still not exactly sure why we ended up with her, but we did.

She's sweet, but learned some tricks from MIL, I'm sure. She will stare you down when she wants petting, but if you start petting her, she'll start edging away. She seems to want you to follow her around the house, bent over, chasing her while she edges just out of reach. She's also master of the kitty guilt trip. (I tell you, MIL taught her!)

Cute! Grey poupon was a nickname of one of my sister's cats. a very tiny completely grey cat. His real name was buddy but he got this nickname when he refused to use the litter box and pooped on everything. (might be why your mil gave you the cat LOL)

that's certainly what i thought when i heard the name!
fortunately, she doesn't live up to that part of her name. if she were named like her personality, it would be "Guilt Trip Queen" or something like that.
