Well, today is the day. I took Kass in about 0750. She was pretty vocal about missing her brekki this morning!
But, we snuggled in my old flannel shirt, and DH snapped a few pics. Then I put the shirt in her kitty karry-all so she will have something familiar when she wakes up after surgery.
I'm prolly gonna be more nervous than she is today!

Kass says thanks Oz for the puppy-love hugs!

Bren, Rob and Dix...I think that little fancy feast pic will eventually get framed here at home!! Seems to be one of our favs...LOL!

OK...the pic of me standing was snapped yesterday...DH thought it was a good shot showing how LONG and flowing Kass's tail is...Lordy, that cat-tail is fluffy...always get a ton of hair from her tail when I groom her!

The other pics are from this morning before heading to the vet's.
They said I can call around noon for an update! Believe me, I'll be watching that darn clock!

Kassie is home! yay! Surgery went well and sutures out in 10 days.

I don't think she's to happy with her mama at the moment...LOL!

Shell, I'm glad it's all over and Kass is now on the mend.

Well, the little stink has managed to take out one of her sutures already when I wasn't looking!!! sigh! I called the vet's office, but after hours they defer to a pet emergency clinic. She may end up with an E-collar if she keeps pulling at the sutures. She doesn't do it all the time, just every now and then, but when she gets something on that little cat brain, well, yanno...persistent is probably the best word! har!!!

Time for a nice shower and clean jammies; it's the simple things in life that makes a cat happy!

Oh, little stinker! I tell ya, they just can't leave sutures alone. Best get the e-collar Shell--and keep her close to you until then. I've always wondered how they can get in so much trouble in the blink of an eye, but they do!

Poor Kassie! Sophie also chewed all her stitches out after the spaying. When she had her next operation I got an E-collar on her but Sandy helped her escape it every time i put it on her. LOL
