Sophie has remained a perpetual puppy! and sandy too. Maybe becaue i spoil the heck out of them. as my sister's SO has said many times " you don't own your dogs, your dogs on you". Not true! They just own my heart!

well, he clearly doesn't get it. what you said is exactly it: they get into your heart and stay there, and love they heck out of you right back. how could you not do things to bring them joy, you know?

They are adorable! What a crew! I have to agree about the animals owning you, they do, you know. They train us to do our jobs for them.

People always seem to think cats can fend for themselves. Some can. But not all. I think most can't.

Thanks kathleen. I agree. unless a cat is trained as a mouser by its mother they usually never learn. and so many strays die every winter; it's tragic.
