Ok...new cat pics! These are not the most flattering shots of me but I had Vern take them to show my Aunt Minnie (Cloe's "real" mom...LOL) how much Cloe and I have bonded. Whenever I sit on the couch, Cloe has a hissy fit unless I just just this way so she can sit with me. If I ignore her she reaches up with her paw to get my attention. It's hard to capture how sweet it is but it's pretty doggone endearing!

Yesterday I had a wave of grief over missing Misha wash over me....then as quickly as it came, it was over with. I do miss her still.

I still miss my baby, Zeno, too. Sometimes, especially late at night, I can almost feel him around, popping up on the bed to cuddle with us. I think of him a lot. It gets easier over time, I know, but they stay with you in your heart.

Loving on one of the ones I have here usually helps.

I guess it's time to update my cat's journal too!

We lost our sweet Cloe this past spring (she is the cuddle monster kitty pictured a few posts back) she is buried under the big pepper tree in my parents' back yard.

We were sooo lonely with one cat in our house...Agnes...pictured in my avatar photo....so we had to get some kittens! now our house is filled with kitten silliness and kitten cuddliness.....and it's wonderful. I really wish i could go live out in the country somewhere on a cat ranch...LOL

so anyway...meet Fred and Ethyl...the nwest additions to our family..

Thanks Rob...we miss our Cloe but we're really at peace with it. I can't really explain it...it wasn't at all like losing Misha was. We were all somehow just more at peace with it...including Cloe.

Our new little furkids bring me such joy...I can't even tell you! I love little Freddie the cat so, so much. I love all of my cats..but Freddie is just a sweet, special little guy to me...he has quickly become my special little buddy!

Well..it was bound to happen sooner or later...curiosity killed the cat you know...it also causes them to fall into the bathtub full of water and bubblebath....LOL

Poor Freddie fell into my bath.....after I was out thankfully! He is frantically licking himself dry! HaHaHa

How funny!! Poor Freddie! Hope he wasn't to traumatized! Isn't it hilarious sometimes...their curiosity can land them in some pretty funny predicaments!

Our Fu-kitty did that one time...she knew the second she jumped on the side of the bath tub that she was in trouble....'cause even though she planned to just SIT there, it was wet and she just kept sliding...as into the tub...much to her surprise!! LOL! She moved her feet so fast to get out, I swear it was like she was walkin' on top of the water and bubbles...and boy did that water fly...all over the bathroom!! She approached the tub with much caution after that little incident.
Kass, on the other hand, loves to play in water; it's a daily battle to keep her OUT of small bodies of water....aka, her water bowl, the toliet bowl, the bathroom sink. Oh, that cat!!
