Default Snacking Help

OK I followed the South Beach recipe for their lemon zest ricotta and got a chance to eat it this morning.....I nearly hurled. Honestly I almost drank a bottle of scope to get the taste out of my mouth. IT WAS HORRIBLE. Granted I am a picky eater, so the woe is a bit tough for me, but can anyone help me, or point me in the right direction of something edible and also on the plan (any LC WOE is fine) that I can cook, or create before hand and take with me on my journeys to work or out of the house for the day?

Much thanks and Much Love

Hi Charlie! I've had some awful concoctions made with Ricotta cheese as well.

I'll post some links for ideas you can find around this site.

This link will take you to the cooking foum. There you can find member posted recipes for all sorts of things. But take a look at the second sticky on One minute muffins. Once you get the hang of making them there is no end to the variety of muffins you can make.

Here's a link to our cooking forum where you'll find a subcategory labelled snacks.

Google low carb recipes or snacks will also get you many other ideas.

Good luck!
