| A little over 4 years ago I was on a low carb plan and lost 40 pounds in 3 months. I have been able to keep all but 10 pounds off. I am ready to start over and try to lose another 25# or so. Of all the diet plans out there, low carb is where I get the most results with the lease cravings. I was scared off of this plan because of how loose my teeth was getting and all of the deep bone pain I was having. I was not taking any supplements or eating any type of dairy and to cheap to go to a doctor. This time I am taking supplements......a one per day, fish oil, a calcium supplement and two glasses of 2% milk with stir in fiber. I have been following this for 2 weeks and have lost 7 pounds but more importantly my jeans are starting to fit better. I assuming that my issues was from the lack of calcium. I was wondering what type of supplements that everyone is taking and if anyone else had problems with teeth getting loose.......I never did lose any but dont want to repeat. At the end of the diet last time I found Atkins ice cream with peanut butter. I am unable to find anything like this. Did 'they' quit making this? Thanks cas |

| Welcome cas! I just checked out the Atkins site. It looks like they have really streamlined there product line. I for one am glad to see that. It was all those "frankenfoods" that caused so many failures. I'm sure it was a contributor to my "finding" most of my "lost" weight. I just got back onto Induction and am choosing to stay away from that stuff all together. I had my greatest success while just following the plan, Older version. On supplements, I just take regular vitamins. I used to supplement with oils and all the other stuff. I just never noticed any difference. A good well rounded LC eating plan usually gives my body what it needs. Maybe add some diversity to your eating plan.
