Default How much potassium do you take?

Once I started taking potassium again, I've gone two nights in a row with no leg cramps Yay! I can still feel my muscles twitching at night though. You know that feeling that they are just about to cramp? Anyway, I noticed on my bottle that each pill is 99mg and you are only supposed to take one a day. On the back, it says one pill is only 3% of your daily value. I remember in the Atkins book, he said that for some reason doctors prescribe lots less than you are supposed to have. So, I was wondering how much the rest of you take. I was thinking about taking one in the morning and one in the evening. That wouldn't hurt me, would it?
