| So i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on (according to my online calorie/carb counter) why a supermarket bought roast chicken has carbs, and just a plain old chicken breast cooked any other way has none... where do the carbs come from in the roast chicken????? |

| The seasoning. All herbs and spices have some carb count and some store roasted chickens are also marinated, or basted with stuff that has carbs. Usually the carb count is not significant. However if the roasted chicken in question is basted with BBQ type sauce, that may have a lot of sugar in it. HTH

| oh of course!!! do you think if you took the skin off this would affect the carb count?? |

| If the spices were on the skin, then that would reduce the carb count accordingly.
