Question potassium and leg cramps

I heard about getting leg cramps because lack of potassium? does anyone take a potassium supplement? how does it work for you? thank-you for ur input!!

I take a potassium supplement along with a calcium supplement. This has helped me considerably with night leg cramps.

There are a few multivitamins out there for those of us who eat LC. They help a lot. I know that a lack of Magnisium can cause leg cramps too...

When I get lax about taking my supplements, I find I have more leg cramps than when I am diligent about them. Since I take calcium, magnesium and potassium in my mix, I don't which one is the key to stopping the cramps. Perhaps it's all of them combined. Who knows? Besides, it sure doesn't hurt to take any of those supplements as insurance.

I was getting cramps in my side / ribs and it was very painful. I've started taking men's one-a-day and they have not returned. They have 100mg potassium in addition to a bunch of others.

Yepper.....I get the cramps....I take the potassium and drink as much water as possible.

Does anybody else but me get leg cramps during - um - romantic interludes? Talk about a mood killer!

I've been taking supplements for a few months now. Multivitamin, calcium, biotin, L-carnitine, magnesium and potassium (99mg). I can tell they've helped with some of the minor day to day cramps, but yowsa those other cramps are !
