Default Airline food

I'm travelling to Europe next month and so I approached my travel agent about the possibility of getting low-carb meals on the flights. Unfortunately the airlines I'm travelling with don't offer a low-carb menu option - but they do offer "Gluten free" and "Diabetic" menu options.
I was unsure which to pick so I went for "Gluten free". I'm not a diabetic. I guess the Diabetic option is sugar free (but may contain flour), whereas the Gluten free option has no flour (but may contain sugar and other carbohydrates). Neither is perfect. What do you think is the best to pick?

I think I will be struggling to maintain LCE while I am away. The hotel I am staying in for a week only offers a Continental breakfast (rolls & croissants).

Could you carry some food on the plane in your pocket? At the hotel, maybe you could go to little nearby market or deli and bring that back for your breakfast and snacks. I haven't traveled in many years now, but when I did we used to do that all the time.

your airline may allow you to take snacks with you, or at least when i've flown that was the case.

as far as while you're gone, just do the best you can. many continentail breakfasts, for example, have fruit. while it's not induction food, it's a much better choice than rolls. your best bet is to minimize your offplan eating (and NOT abandon it until you get back). you'll be glad you did your best to make good choices when you get back, i have no doubt.
