Question Does anyone use Soy Flour

I got a LC book from George Stella and he swears by it. I am want to have some onion rings, I just don't want to stall this run of weight loss I have going on here ( I am losing about a 1/2 pound a day or so give or take...either way the scale shows a lose of something for every day lately)

Any thoughts?

SOS....

I've used it before. I'm not that fond of the taste.

I used soy flour in my pancake batter recipe, until I ran out. The store where I bought it stopped carrying it in bulk, so I have not bought anymore as I do not use enough of it to buy the prepackaged quantity.

if the taste doesn't bother you, i doubt it would hurt your program. some people avoid soy for other concerns, but i do use it on occassion and haven't found concerns in terms of my body's reaction to it.

It's not that bad but I wouldn't want it every day.

Tastes nasty, won't use it. Depending on what you are using it for, there are other options.

Thanks everyone! I am going to try the onion rings and see how it goes? I don't mind the taste of soy usually ( in the past atleast) I will give it a shot.

I bought some Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Soy Flour to use in a low carb bread recipe I have. It has a very mild, bland taste. Maybe some brands taste better than others. Bob's uses high quality ingredients in everything.

I'll let you know how the bread came out!

I made the orion rings, deep fried, the soy flour burns very quick. I even seasoned the flour and still it was Yuck!!
