Default Need some Loose Skin info

I wonder if someone might have the answer to a question I'm looking for.
I was sick for a month and the only visual thing I'm concerned about... if I want to wear sleeveless this summer.... is that the skin on my upper arms has become so loose. I still have my biceps and my triceps when I tighten them but evidently the fat around them just disappeared. It left them with deep "wrinkles" and such.
Because my muscles (particularly my arms and thighs) were impaired and shot out pain all the time while I was sick they did a muscle enzyme test and it was in normal range. My liver is healing but I have a few month recoup time.
I had been doing a light weight routine - classic stuff with 3 & 5 & 10 # weights but was so tired in January I stopped. I think I could start back with them moderately if that might help.
Any suggestions for a relatively quick fix (and I'm willing to work at it as much as my recoup permits) or do I just buy some 3/4 length sleeve blouses for summer?
Thanks for any direction someone might be able to provide

Sorry, MaryLee, that this is not one I can help with specifically. I have read some stuff on loose skin in general (and you can do a search for "loose skin" and find some discussion of it here), but not upper arms specifically, and/or info on dealing with it more quickly.

I have read _in general_ weight routines is good for this, and imagine any vitamin good for the skin in general wouldn't hurt. I also make sure to use good quality lotions and moisturizers, which seems to help with skin elasticity a little. But I'm afraid I can't offer you a lot more in the way of ideas...

Thank You. I hadn't been able to find anything applicable on the internet either. I've started back with my 3 & 5 pound weights just doing my shoulders, bicep, triceps. I usually am not the quick fix type - as I've learned to be patient at this point in life... but when switching over to summer clothes and discovered this upper arm thing ... I got a bit anxious. I've got a few short sleeve and 3/4 sleeve tops and I've packed away my sleeveless until I get this thing beat. Unfortunately I don't have one summer dress that is not sleeveless. I'm trying to look at the bright side. I'm feeling better each day and some of the arm thing may be genetic. My arms look like my mom's did when she was in her 70's and 80's. She was never more than a few pounds overweight, if that, but her arms had deep wrinkles. She stayed tanned so it didn't look bad. I may just walk around with my hands on my hips or stretched straight out ... it doesn't show then (smile)

MaryLee, I thought I remembered an old thread discussing what I think you are referring to and an exercise to address it. Here is a link:
"Bat Wings" Challenge

Thanks for the link it was almost comforting reading about others with "bat wings". I use the 3 & 5 # weights for the "overhead press" "one arm overhead extension" and "cross-face extension" 12 reps with 3# & 10 reps with 5# then 8 reps with 5#. Normally the last set would be done with 10# but It wears me out and can't do that right now. I know it might be the only thing to fix this but it just happened in a month of inactivity so was hoping I could fix it in same time or less (smile). Will be interested to see if it helps the loose skin. I used weights prior to this for strength and toning of muscle - skin wasn't a problem before.
