    Default Fructose and Obesity

If you've got 1.5 hrs. to spend online, here's a video from U. of C. San Francisco describing the biochemistry of fructose metabolism--and a few other things.

Anyone pursuing an LC nutritional plan has exited fructose consumption. But it's still a national and international issue we should all be aware of.

Table sugar also contains fructose in more than normal natural food proportions.I gather from this article, fructose does not act on satiety centers the same was as glucose but you need some fructose as a trigger for glucose metabolism. There are several factors that contribute to obesity, and high fructose corn syrup is not the sole culprit of obesity. In small doses, high fructose corn syrup will probably not cause obesity if combined with exercise and a healthy diet.

I'd pretty well forgotten about it until the recent post popped it up. I'm glad it was interesting for you, Rob. You're a stalwart.

It is very important for us to avoid consuming fructose as, it is not good for health and basically, for the people who are suffering from Diabetes as, its consumption is very harmful as it is having a sweet poison.

I have heard that, you should avoid taking fructose in liquid as, it is not good for health.

    Thanks
