| Sorry, I was trying to enter myself as 'boopie', but I missed the 'p', LOL. So, I guess you can me Boo! Anyway, I'm trying again to lose on low-carb; read Atkins and am familar with low carb. I have lost 5 pounds from Monday to Friday... although I sure know it could change in a minute. That's why I weigh once a week... I know... I'm a freak! But, I feel more stable weighing in only once a week. I hope that is okay on this forum! Thanks, boopie / Tammy (booie) |

| Welcome, Tammy. You can weigh in or not, as you like. If going weekly helps you feel most stable and on track, I think it's very wise. I've seen lots of people end up frustrated because they overdid the scale-hopping, man. glad to have you with us! ![]() |

| I think weighing yourself once a week is VERY healthy! We need to do whatever is right for our health and you are doing great. Welcome!! I had to open up this thread because of the name booie. I thought it was cute! |

| Hey everyone! Glad to be here. I need to look around, but been busy researching on my hobby of perfuming. I made my first one last evening; not too hard, need to let it sit at least 48 hours. anyway, hello and I'm glad I found this place. I'm a Betty Boop fan, btw... that's where I came up with boopie. |

| Hi Boopie! I'm back on the Atkins wagon as well. Congratulations on your success. I'm mid-week 3 with a total loss of 3 pounds. It's coming off slower this time, but hey - it's coming off! I love being able to eat when I'm hungry. I"m also enjoying the "full" feeling & putting down the fork when I've had enough. The past 2 days, I've left food on my plate. What a success! |
