| Hello, Tonia. Hope you don't let the perceived slowness of your second time around put you off! In the long run, you have to integrate this into your lifestyle forever to keep the weight off, so it's in your best interest to work on that mindset. If your appetite has decreased, then there's a good chance that the low carb is helping, but it can be useful to know many people find that subsequent attempts at low carbing after their first time around mean slightly slower losses. That's very normal, if not always welcome news. You also don't have that much weight you want to lose overall, and in general, the less you have to lose, the slower it tends to go as well, so don't let that throw you. If you're feeling good and satisfied with what you're eating, have plenty of veggies and protien, you're probably doing fine. What plan are you following? Also, do make sure you take measurements-they change different times than the scale, don't ask me why! -try to only have specific weigh-in days if you're a chronic scale hopper, and use clothing as well as weight to judge your progress. And avoid going ultra low carb trying to kick things up as that often has the opposite effect. Glad to have you with us! |
