Default HELP!Serial-failure. need a beach-buddy!!

Hey, i have tried south beach soo many times, the most iv lost is half a stone, i felt amazing, but then had a day of weakness a week in and put it all back on. Since then iv never had the same results or motivation.
Im now getting depressed and desperate.
Im heading to Uni in 2 weeks, and want to get down half a stone before then. But i think the best way to do it is to get someone in the same type of boat, for support and motivation to get where i want and to keep it off!! Any takers??
Please Help!!!

Welcome, A.

Most of us are "veterans" of short term attempts to take off a certain amount of weight by some arbitrary date and have found that "bursts" of "dieting" were not terribly effective at lasting weight loss.

I think you'll find a great deal of support here for a long term approach to normalizing one's weight and increasing one's overall health. This is a very friendly and supportive community.

I'm sorry to hear you've had a hard time, A. Based on my experience, the folks that do the best are indeed the ones that focus on the long haul.

We can't promise you'll lose 7 pounds in two weeks. What we can assure you, however, is that most people who follow LC consistently and treat it as a lifestyle as opposed to a crash diet end up feeling better, being healthier, and, usually losing most or all of the excess weight they may need to, for good.

Best wishes to you.
