Got my blood test results from doctor visit 12/4/08 - My A1C was 6.3 with only 45 days of LCE and NO insulin during that time. Tight control for diabetic. My cholesterol stuff was all in normal range (first time in twenty years). My doc had been pushing medication for lowering cholesterol. When I showed her my charts and graphs about percentages of fat/protein/carbs, she said, Some people do lower their cholesterol with that diet. Anyway. I'm pleased.
