After a bout of Ovarian cancer, and loosing my beloved Mom and a few stressful moves across country, I have found my way back to LCE.. and its is long over due. I was starting to feel some pretty scary things regarding my health. I was a strok or heart attack waiting to happen. Plus.. I saw my photo of my holloween costume that

Welcome, Lacy.

You've certainly had some stressful times.

Hope you'll make yourself at home here.

Lacy. From your stats, it looks like you are off to a great start. on the 28 pounds lost since your January restart. Good luck as you continue your weight loss journey.

Thank you everyone, for making me feel welcome. It's good to be here. I am feeling very good and positive so far this time around. I have found this time around is different than all other times i have tried to loose weight. Most of all, I am proud of my fortitude to keep on keeping on, I am working out up to 5 times a week, where as in the past, i have given up within the first week. Plus.. I cannot believe how strong i have been in keeping to the LCEing. I have no real desire to go off, I am no longer hungry or craving any of my old carb. loaded foods. I have seen brownies on the counter at my house for days... with no temptation at all. Oh, I do have a person that lives in the the same house as me, that would soo love to tempt me off my program.. But i gain tremendous pleasure in disappointing them with my iron will.hehehe... I am glad that i have all of you to share with and this truely does help and make a difference. Hope everone has a great day, and many losses...

Glad to have you with us, Lacy! LC is a lot easier than most of us thought it would be before we started. Best of luck in foiling your housemate-nemisis's evil plot!

Welcome Lacy! I felt the same way once I started this LCE. It's great isn't it?

Hi Everyone, Hope you all are well and dropping lbs. As of Friday3-6-09, I have lost 30lbs. I was sooo stoked, i practically was walking on air at work Friday.. and everyone was like WOW! What are you doing to loose the weight ? I think I now know of as least two or three people that will be starting their own atkins journey very soon. It felt sooo good. I could really get used to it. It's also very motivating. thanks all, many losses to you all. Lacy
