Well .. here I go ... after doing my research for a while... i Officially started LC yesterday (3-11-09) . Trying to keep the blood sugar from getting out of line. I and I could use to drop a few ... ummm... or 40 pounds . I always ate LC when i was a young skinny person ... I just didn't know it was LC... it was just they way I ate. So I am off and running at 189 lbs. I am looking foward to having company... :o)

Melissa, I'm glad you found this site. Have you decided on a particular low carb plan?

Thanks for the welcome... ' Tis a;ways good to have company on any journey... the last time i stepped on a scale , last friday I weighed 190 ... this morning I weighed in at 182 ... GO ME !!!!!

11lbs. so far... the first 10 litterally fell off .. lots of water I imagine... it has slowed to a more normal pace... kinda hard to say since it has only been 9 days .. I will actually be to see how it is going to come off in a more realistic sort of way now. i'm diggin it!!
