Kitty Re: Hi Everyone!

hi meeemeee,
Welcome to LCE!
We're glad your here!

I would say, perhaps you need to get more info re: LC plans and how they work.
It is ALWAYS a good idea to have the book for the LC plan you wish to use.
Often times "just winging it" can lead to a dead end, yanno?
There are several good LC weight loss plans...Atkins, Protein Power, and South Beach, to name a few.
Do some reading and see which one fits you best, then you will have the basis to build on.

Best wishes on your journey to healthy eating and weight loss.

Post often and let us know how you are doing.

Welcome!
If you hope to be successful long term and lose a siginificant amount of weight in the next year, I have to echo Shelley's fine advice: read up, pick a plan and get the book. There is a difference that's night and day between the outcome between folks who do this and those who don'. I've been watching people do this somewhere around five years now, and my money is on the person who picks a plan and works it every time.

As a plus, most of your questions get answered as well..
Glad to have you join us!

Hi San Diego gal! I'm also from San Diego. I moved to the Phoenix area last June and miss my home town like crazy!!! I'm studying Nutrition in Phoenix and also a low carb vet who fell off the wagon for a few years. For the 2.5 years I've been off the wagon, between having a baby and unhealthy eating have gained a whopping 60 pounds. I'm ready to take the weight off!!! I'd be happy to help you with any questions you have especially about nutrition. =)
