    Default Hello from Maine

Hello everyone, My name is Jeanne and I live in Maine. I have a horse farm and am very active. I started low carbing long before it was ever popular and absolutely loved it and did great on it,,, my problem is I am a stress eater. Unaware of this back in the 70's I yoyo'd alot! Then events and life in general got in the way,,, well five years ago I got back to atkins and lost 157 pounds in less then a year and went from a size 26 to a size 4! Oh yeah I was on top of my game and feeling wonderful,,, well life got in the way again and my stress eating got me,,, so here I am back at it again,,, been on for a week and lost 13 pounds so far,,, I know what I am suppose to do and I know how to do it,,, the problem is I get distracted and say ok I can start again,,, well this time there is no starting again,,, I have started and my goal is to stay on,,, I don't care if the lc way of life consumes my every waking moment I want to get thin and stay thin,,, I have a horse to ride,,, he doesn't need to haul excess fat around,,, oh yes by the way I also have a horse that is carb resistant,,, so we are both low carbing it!

Welcome Jeanne! What do you feed your horse? It seems like all of their food is high carbs. How did you discover he is carb resistant?

It sounds like you've done great in the past and now again!
