Hello My name is Cathy and was diagnosed with pre-Type2 diabetes a month ago and was advised that a Low Carb Diet was the key to keeping my glucose levels down and losing some weight. I just happened accross this site while looking for some recipes and I didn't want to be just a lurker but a member.

I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it here and get the info I need here.

Cathy. Will you be following a specific low carb plan? It is usually easier when starting a lc lifestyle if you follow a specific plan like Atkins, Protein Power, or South Beach, until you find the individual tweaks you need to make to adjust the plan to your individual needs. Good luck.
