Hi all!

I'm new here. I'm 52 years old, live in New England and going on my 4th week of the Carbo Addict's Diet. So far so good. I'm not sure I'm losing, but I'm certainly not gaining. The scale is not my friend and I don't own one, so I am going by how my clothing fits and what I see in the mirror.

I tried Atkins and failed because it was too restrictive for me. With CAD, I can enjoy some carbs at my reward meal and the fruits I love so it's way easier to stick with.

I'm looking for support in this journey and hopefully I've found it here!

I used to have two cats. One just passed away in April. She was 17. I miss her so much!

I still have my other cat. She will be 18 this month!
