Hi Everyone!

My name is Andrea. I've been watching my carbs since the beginning of the year. I've lost about 15 lbs. so far. But, I'd still like to drop another 15 or a couple more dress sizes, whichever comes first. I had been working out about 3 times a week (or more) until July. My work schedule got hectic and I was traveling, and I got out of my routine. Luckily, I haven't gained any weight.
Today was my first day back at the gym. I'm bound and determined to lose the extra weight.
Hopefully you can help!
I am not really following any plan. I've done Atkins in the past, but I become obsessed if I do the Induction. It's not good! Plus, I don't like to be overly concerned about what I eat in front of my 5 year old daughter. My husband has been low carbing it since January as well, and he's back to his high school weight. So, it's easy for me to stick to the diet, since DH and I enjoy the same dietary lifestyle.
I eat under 20 carbs, most of the week. I probably stay below 50 on the weekends. Although I do allow myself a splurge day, if there is a celebration.
None of my friends watch their carb intake. So, I'm hoping that you could be my new support and life line!
Thanks for your help, in advance.

Howdy, Andrea. Glad to have you with us. Another KC gal!
I would caution you - with a small amount to lose, do expect that it may take some time. That's pretty typical with folks who only have a little to go. But hey, since this is just how you're going to be eating and I'm assuming you're feeling good, that's okay, right?

Welcome, Andrea.

I think it would be easier if you had a plan and stuck to it.
but as they said above, the closer you are to goal, the harder it is, (I am told)

Make sure you drink lots of water too
