Boy this is hard for me. I'm an introvert by nature and have a hard time sharing in general. And now I'm posting my weight on the internet! What a hoot that is!
My goal is 135 but it's been so long since I've been that low that I don't know if my body will go that low anymore. Right now I would be happy to be at my prepregnancy weight of 143 (DD is 14 months). Currently I weigh between 159 and 160, depending on what kind of mood my scale is in. I'm about 5'5" and have a large muscular frame so I'll never look like a long lithe supermodel.
I gained huge amounts of weight with both pregnancies (@60 pounds each). My first doctor was horrible and insisted I just stay away from the dinner table so I would quit eating so much. He even told my husband to take the food away from me after I had eaten a certain amount. Maybe there are a few people on this board that can sympathize when I say, I wasn't eating that much! I really truly was not eating more than I had when I was on weight watchers. I even kept a journal to show my doctor but he just said I was lying. Needless to say I had a new doctor to deliver my daughter and was even more careful (didn't know anything about lowcarb yet) eating (lot's of low fat bagels, pasta with tomato sauce, yeeeesh)and still gained almost as much as the first time. Luckily I had a great doctor who said some women just gain weight during pregnancy, just to be healthy and have a healthy baby and worry about the weight later.
Well later came and I was about 200 lbs. Back to lowfat eating. I got down to about 170 on lowfat but was starving and unhappy.
Gosh I didn't realize how long this was! Sorry about that, I guess I have a lot that's been bottled up for a while. I'll end it here for now. Thanks to everyone here for such an amazing support system and sharing there stories. It really does make a difference!

TexLady, welcome to the board! You are starting out at about the same place (159) I did in April this year. You've got a couple inches on me in height, too<G>. Just work your program and you can sure depend on the information on this board to help you over the rough spots.
