| I brush and brush and the killer breath will not go away. I know this is actually a good sign but.....Well when the dog won't kiss you theres a problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Repeat after me...There's no place like home. |

| Donna, You are new and don't realize this, but you have posted this question in the "journaling" forum. This is like an online diary for our members and you are not likely to get many replies here. You should repost this in the NEWBIES forum if you want answers... As for your question, there are a few things you can do: **Seriously up your water intake. I aim for a gallon per day (128 oz.); that's four 32 oz. cups. If you are low on your water you are more likely to excrete ketones on your breath. If you drink adequate water, the ketones will pass (albeit somewhat diluted) more through your urine. **Chew sugar-free gum. I did this non-stop for the first 6 weeks when I started this woe (way of eating). **Wait and see... For many people, our bodies adjust to this woe and the effects of ketosis lessen with time. Your breath might just improve after a month or two of eating this way. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find this answer! Summer www.herstorygirl.com |
