OK, Enough is enough. It's about time to get a handle on your eating and stop treading water. I've lost 1 stinkin' pound in the last 3 months. Tomorrow I have surgery on my knee & haven't been able to exercise in months, but that is becoming an all too familiar excuse. Starting Saturday, I'm going to post my menus for all the world to see & critique.

See you then!

Here I am. I've been too sick to get to the computer or eat very much, but I ate pretty good today. No weight lost even with the small amount of food I've eaten. Pain pills are worse than pain!

Breakfast: 2 LC Lemon Poppy Muffins & 2 cups coffee with heavy cream.

Mid AM: 2 cups white tea w/Splenda.

Lunch: Small chicken salad w/mixed baby greens & flax oil for dressing. 2 hard boiled eggs.

Mid Afternoon: 2 more cups white tea w/Splenda, 1 oz. string cheese.

Dinner: Ground beef/Organic Tomato paste/Shredded cheese/Black Olive baked thingie I threw together.

Doesn't look too good, but I can't get around much & I'm trying to make things that are easy & I can grab on the hop!

Thanks Febe...could you move in next door to me? You're such a great cheerleader/motivator/supporter.

I think I did better foodwise today.

B: Flax-o-Meal w/cream & White tea w/Splenda.

Mid AM: Coffee w/cream & LC Muffin + 2.5 oz sliced chicken.

L: Leftover thingie from last nights dinner. Kind of a little meat crust pizza.

Mid day: White Tea w/Splenda.

D: Olive Soup

Eve: Diet Rite Cola

Must eat more veggies tomorrow! I am drinking water, but not like I did before the surgery. Too many painful trips to the loo.

Febe, it came from Dana Carpender's LC cookbook. It was easy for me to put together, chicken broth, xanthan gum, cream, diced olives, sherry, sal & pepper. I hadn't tried it before, it was only OK. I needed something warm & soothing. If you'd like the receipe, I'll gladly send it, but I didn't think it was a keeper.

Yesterdays food was...

Breakfast: 5 slices bacon, 1 LC Muffin, Coffee w/cream & splenda.

Dinner: Pork Roast, Diet Rite Cola

Not a good day, lots of pain & Diet Rite to settle my stomach.

Today was better...

Breakfast: Bacon & Green Tea w/ Splenda.
Lunch: Chicken Skewers & Green Beans
Dinner: Leftover Pork Roast & Green Beans, 2 slices LC Bread.
Snack: 2 LC/SF Peanut Butter Cups
