*I don't here any singing!*

Well this morning, after all this time, I finally tried making a kefir shake for my breakfast.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCK
IT TASTES LIKE POO!!!

what a waste of kefir, strawberries and carbs!!

I was SO disappointed. I've read here how many people enjoy them and figured it would be a tasty and quick way to down my breakfast.

it wasn't, sniff

wasn't good, or fast!!

Guess I am not a fix food in the morning kind of person. It's all I can do to remember to bring the lunch I packed the night before.

aaaaaaaaaarg, I forgot my acv today.

some mornings ya just want to go back to bed and start all over.

However, my hair and makeup look great - so I'll just sit here and look pretty

*L* sounds like a plan... sittin and looking pretty..
i get a gallon of braggs ACV and pour it into different bottles... take one and leave it at work ... and one at home.. left on the counter .. i have two shot glasses by it.. one for the ACV and one to put water in to chase it with...
since i OWN the business i work at.. i have a small fridge that i keep stocked with lettuce mix, cherry tomatoes.. yogurt.. ranch dressing.. strawberries if i find good ones... ice tea.. water.. anywho.. you get the drift... if i have great stuff right there ready.. i am not tempted to grab some fast food and regret it..(with the exception of a great garlic chicken salad that i get from the cafe up the road)
i also just found some low carb soups from campbells i think.. 3-5 carbs per cupfull... works for me. for when i want something warm.. pour in a cup.. micro and i am THERE baby!!
also have my DEVIL coffee pot and cream and an assortment of tea bags..
i found out that i TOO am breakfast making/lunch bringing impaired,,,*L* wanna start a support group? ;-)

LOL!!! I am one of those people who can't make coffee unitl I've had coffee!!!

Ah, keeping a second bottle here at work would REALLY cut out the forget factor!

*head desk* Why didn't I think of that before????

I got some of those Campbells soups, just haven't tried them yet, good to know they fit the bill. Thankfully our cafe here has some super salads - maybe a little too super - lunch out everyday is a budget killer! (speaking of bills!!!)

Congrats on the 50 pounds, that's super!!!!

LOL Kim and Trina!!! I figure the one cup I have in the morning is no biggie, I refuse to give it up!

Well . . . some days are diamonds and some are dust. In my haste to get out of here this am, I forgot lunch and my apple cider vineger.

HUNGER MONSTER FROM THE PLANET X invaded my body and wanted to be fed all day. (hey, that sounds better then "I was a feed me nightmare!")

so much for wondering if all the good results I've been experiencing from the acv were just in my head!! *rolls eyes* Picked up a second bottle to keep at the office so THAT won't happen again - not that I think it would, the feeling of out of control hunger was quite the scare.

So lunch was my fav spinach salad from the Jolt Bar at work - ate the whole thing, gads.

Dinner - well, stopped by the market on the way, a horrid side trip that rarely puts me in a good mood and delays dinner - so INSTEAD of going with my all day not so bright mode - I cracked open on of those Life Choice things - the meatloaf.

*insert smilie of me trying to find a g rated way of describing this thing*

it wasn't too horrid, didn't taste like poo - and over all beats me getting all bent out of shape hungry and going off track.

but I'll never eat it again!!

:P

AFTER (smart of me to wait til I'd eaten the thing huh???), I read the ingredients - what's with all the soy protien??? What's with the bread crumbs and why was it so tough to cut??? Honestly, I'm no wiz at making meatloaf - in fact I stink at it, but even my worst was never tough!!

and so the sun sets on a rather odd lc day for me.

gonna cruise the site and then steal back the tv from hubby!

IdunnowhatI'mgonnado

Heather wants Taco Bell tonight, thankfully I can't stomach the stuff so no temptation - but it does leave me in a quandary as to what to fix myself.

I do have a chicken parm Life Choice ***shudder*** - lol, don't see me having that anytime too soon! I may not feel like cooking, but I'm not that desperate!!

Gonna keep it simple, really tired today, not that great a night's sleep (shopping, icky dinner, lack of acv during the day???), want to hit the hay early tonight.

Don't see me hitting my 35 carbs today, I'm not even at 20 right now. Maybe a good old fashion tuna sandwich?? (lc bread of course)
mmmmmmmm, comfort food!!!

food today
b- coffee, lc yogurt, egg salad
l- beef pattie, green beans, turnip fauxtatoes
snack - almonds

and enough water to float an Armada!

I made it to 30 carbs last night, but only because I had 2 slices LC bread - interesting, it either knocked me out of ketosis, or the up all night running to the bathroom 2 step just caused me to not show any pink.

This ACV is amazing stuff!!! Odd though how one missed day will throw you off though. NO acv on the 18th til dinner - and I was jonesing so baaaaaaaad for food all day - 19th, had my acv BUT still uber hungry, again all day.

TODAY thankfully the acv has kicked in over time - barely able to eat breakfast (egg salad - man I stink at having a good breakie during the work week!)

<--------- wonders if acv can count towards a fruit serving for the 5 a day club o-O

Found that adding bacon to the chicken ceasar salad from downstairs is a wonderful way to get full for 6 bucks!! (gaaaaaaaar, I stink at bringing in my lunch daily too - maybe make that and a good breakfast a personal goal??)

Trying a Rachel Ray recipe tonight, lc'ing it more then she did for dinner tonight.

*crosses fingers* if all goes well, Heather and I will go to Disneyland this weekend!!!

hey, not to worry, you never learn if you don't ask!!

Yep, it's Apple Cider Vinegar - raw, unfiltered. I use the Bragg's brand

http://www.bragg.com/products/applecidervinegar.html

as odd as drinking some of this before each meal sounds (ok, maybe that was just me!) - it has made a WORLD of difference!! Sharron got me hooked on it, her doctor recommended it as a digestive aid - hey, I heard CUTS APPETITE and signed up!!

I eat, 1/3 to 1/2 less per meal now. Though I am in owl and the lose is slowing (waaaaaaaaaah) I'm still seeing great results in my energy, my clothes my face (hey, you know it's working when my husband comments that I seem so full of energy lately!!!

Give it a try! I am REALLY happy with the results.

And as you can tell from my posts, wow, what a difference when I didn't have it that one day!!

Thanks for stopping by here!!! I love company!!

I got REALLY lucky with my daughter, she's 20 and STILL loves to go with me. My hubby says we're more like sisters some times.

Had a GREAT day and yes, I had my ACV with me

I haven't walked that much in FAR too long. Gonna start getting up early in the am and hitting the treadmill. I hurt from the hair down today!!

I'll post some pics later, they have a wonder art exhibit from the Haunted Mansion movie. Yeah, I actually check out things like that when there - oddly, we only went on one ride - but we had a wonderful time having lunch, shopping, people watching and laughing.

I'm taking today to be lazy (well, I'll also be doing my bulk cooking for the weekend).

Made a frittata for breakfasts during the week, gonna take the plunge and make a meatloaf (crosses fingers) and some chicken stew. I know, it's summer, but my office is sub zero and I always find my day goes better with a hot lunch - also easier to get the carbs and veggies in that way.

My new lc love?? JICAMA!!

the down side of doing bulk cooking on the weekends is that by the time Monday rolls around your kitchen looks like a battle zone! Thankfully my daughter handles the dishwashing and was very sweet about the mess I had made (I managed to keep a few coffee cups clean but not much else!).

Made
meatloaf
chicken stew
frittata
broccoli casserole
simmered some chicken legs

OMG the meat loaf came out great!! And oddly I really didn't do anything special - meat, seasoning, some lc bread crumbs, eggs and cream - BUT I didn't over handle it or over cook it. DD & DH loved it, I even impressed myself!

I really only kept track of what went into the frittata, so I'm thinking this week I'll keep track of what I ate but not get crazed about counting the carbs??? I've gotten too obssessed about numbers and it's not doing me any good.

Who knows, maybe a week off from counting will result in a lose for next week!
(none this week, but I'm not worried - ok, no TOO worried!)
