| Today Im starting a life change. I have 2 goals to lose a little weight and to stop drinking. Since the kids have flown the nest seems like I eat all day and drink to much. So today I start telling myself I am more then a mom. I am a going to strive to find my own identity and become a more rounded person while at the same time become less a ROUND person Well off to go shopping to restock my fridge. |

| thank you rob and febe Its raining so much I think we are going to have to build an ark to stay afloat. When its rainy and cold I always want soup a nice homemade potato cheese soup. But I will resist and stick to Induction. Im going to research low-carb soups to see what I can make after the 2 weeks is up. Went to bed early about 9 to break the cycle of drinking hubby stayed up, I laid in bed awake till about 12 thinking about different ways to cook meat lol. Been reading some of the journals and don't know where you all get the time r energy to exercise or walk!!! My sister and I was talking yesterday and we both agreed that walking to the fridge and the bathroom is our exercise. I told her I was going to start walking and I could hear her shudder over the phone lol. I met all my goals yesterday started Atkins didn't drink and didn't call the kids. This journaling is very therapeutic |

| Ate induction yesterday I did not even take a bite of the potato I made hubby. Going to try to find the vinegar with the mother in it I read about here and start taking that. Calories 997 Fat 60% carbs only 7 fiber 1 That would have been good but then I decided to have a drink and made the total calories 1189 fat 50% carbs 7 fiber 1 |

| I ve been doing good. I find Im not hungry and having to force myself to eat.Also found out you cant drink and do Atkins. Started on the 3rd of Jan so its been 10 days and I broke down and weighed myself Im down 4 lbs YIPPEE. |

| today is going to be hard, it was my daughters birthday on the 7th and today we are gong to have a family supper to celebrate. (the kids r coming over the kids r coming over jumping up and down lol ) Im making her favorite birthday meal spaghetti and meat balls and my homemade sauce. I will only have the meatballs and some salad. I got the wheat spaghetti from all the reading I think it will be better for them then the ones made out of flour. |
