Sus, I replied to you in your journal!

OK, I'm back. I flew to Seattle and beat the pants off Bill Gates for making me reinstall my OS. How dare he!!!

I am officially post-re-induction now. I only lost 1# on that little quest, but I think that I gained better habits out of it. For one thing, I started exercising 5 days/week. That could be the reason for the slowed loss....muscle gain! Woohoo! Also, I've gotten back into my gallon-a-day habit, which is good!! Still searching for the elusive 179. I'm really hoping to hit that mark on Monday. I've been a 'light 180' for about 4 days now. LOL! I'm hoping that now that I'm really pushing the water, it'll make all the difference. Funny what a difference one little pound can make in your motivation, eh?

Cheers!

Why, oh, why do I torture myself??? I thought by making my weigh in day on Monday, that I wouldn't splurge or binge or whatever on the weekend. I always start out admirably enough on Saturday and by Sunday the whole shootin' match has gone to H&LL!! I did a fine job yesterday of being conservative on my carbs. Then today I go and blow it...grrr!! I didn't binge out or anything, and I'm not beating myself up, but holy cow, man, I'd just like to be able to control myself for 2 days in a row! Maybe I'm just feeling giddy now that I'm off induction. Like that gives me license to eat and forget about drinking my water.

Sorry about the rant. I just feel so out of control sometimes. I just don't know how this can be such an issue. WHY do I constantly feel the need to sabotage myself???? GRRRRR!!!

OK, I'm done now. I'm going to have another glass of water and shut up now.

((((FEBE)))) thanks for the good vibes!!! I'm going to make that darn 179 if I have to lop off a body part!!

Cheers!

Aren't you the girl who just successfully completed re-induction? I don't think you can do that and still be considered "out of control". Sorry, Sweetie, you're still my hero. (((HUG)))

Thanks, Febe and Sus! I feel like a goof for my post last night, but it's so true. I was so good on induction! The problem is, I need so much structure, or I go nuts. I guess it's just a matter of self-control. And now that I'm exercising 5x/week, I guess that gives me a bit more lee-way. Whatever the reason, I'm glad to be in the 170's!!! Woohoo!!!!

Cheers!

Just finished the lovely hour of yoga. I really love yoga!!

Here come da stats:

Total: 1810
Fat: 99 894 51%
Sat: 44 399 23%
Poly: 8 73 4%
Mono: 29 260 15%
Carbs: 41 113 6%
Fiber: 13 0 0%
Protein: 165 658 38%
Alcohol: 12 81 5%

Not too bad if I do say so, myself! I even had one of those dreaded Atkins bars, too. I totally love the lemon Advantage bars. Unfortunately, they are now un-findable and I ate my very last one for lunch. It was nummy. I know, bad Jen....BAAAAAD!!! Like I said, it was the last one on the planet, and I enjoyed it. So, there ya go!

Anaway, I'll be interested to see if the scale will be fickle and take back my 179. If it does, I'm throwing the d@mn thing out the window!

Cheers!

Not that I care to aid you in LC sabotage in any way, bu-ut, I think I can get those bars to you from here. I mean if you were desperate and that was the only thing that would satisfy you, or it was your last request or something equally extreme... OR this could be the fever talking...

OK, scale was not fickle today, it told me 178. I looked at it and screamed, "LIAR!!", then I stepped off and stepped on again...178. I don't know what to think. I'm waiting until Monday to see if it'll stick around. After today, I'm not so sure. DH's birthday blow-out. Can you say YUM? There, I knew you could!! I made Sharron's carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for the birthday cake and spaghetti squash lasagna casserole for dinner. Can you tell which was more important?? The cake, of course! It was fabulous! I think DH had a good b-day, I know I did. LOL!!! I didn't drink a lot of water today, only 1/2 gallon. I matched that quantity in coffee, unfortunately.

Sus, you make me laugh so hard! NOW FORK OVER THE D@MN BARS!!!! Just joking, hon. I just may take you up on that offer...strokes chin while grinning evilly.

Cheers!

Aww, Sus, you make me blush. You're too sweet!

Thanks for the crossed body parts, Febe! I'm hoping this is the beginning of a big downward slide!!

Well, if this is any indication, I'm in ketosis.....I am sooo not hungry, it's ridiculous! I could almost go the whole day without eating. I know that isn't good, but I didn't try to fight it today. Every time I thought about food, it made me slightly queasy. I did have yummy grilled chicken and creamed turnips for dinner, though. And a personal triumph....I stayed away from the LC beer. It's sooo hard! I love grilled food and a Mich Ultra. I need to kick myself in the pants, tho, about drinking water. I've been kind of slack the past few days. Tomorrow I'm concentrating on getting in my gallon. Last night I did my mile....at 10pm. Damn VH1! Why does I Love the 80's have to be on until 10??? Sorry, can't miss that show! In fact...it's on right now!!!!

Cheers!

Ooops, I did it again...
I got off my butt,
I ran like the wind!!

Have I told you lately how much I hate Britney?? Well, anaway, that's my little homage to her.

I can't believe I put the kids to bed, watched the Matrix Reloaded and THEN went downstairs and ran a mile! SILLY!!

Y'know, Morrissey is really horrible. I mean just rank awful. Why, then, do I listen to The Smiths?? I think it's just the boingy quality of his singing. I wish Robert Smith would just come and put Morrissey out of my misery...a'la South Park. LOL!!

Y'all keepin' up with this??

Ok, I can't believe I'm listening to The Smiths...talk about innane (inane??) tripe!! Morrissey pisses me off, THAT'S why I don't listen to them!! Alright, I'm over it now, I promise.

Stats for today:
Total: 1656
Fat: 104 936 58%
Sat: 47 427 26%
Poly: 16 144 9%
Mono: 34 307 19%
Carbs: 23 68 4%
Fiber: 6 0 0%
Protein: 148 590 36%
Alcohol: 4 27 2%

Probably a little light on carbs/cals because I couldn't account for the exact amount of veggies in my pizza toppings, it's close though.

Anyway, I'm done...I'm turning off Morrissey and either killing myself or going to bed. I think at this juncture, I'll opt for bed.

Cheers!
