Jen, It sounds like you had a fabulous night! I am so glad you did and only envy you a little. I'm not brave and I don't try new things as much as I should but maybe I will after reading about your experiences. I get very caught up in my role as a mama and don't take the time to care for myself and my personal growth. I think maybe I should change that. Maybe I'll plan a mini-adventure for some personal growth. Hmmmmmmmmmm.........

Sus, it was a truly great night. I don't get out for them too often and only after the kiddies are asleep. We met at 8:40 and I was back home by midnight. It was a whirlwind trip into the city and back to my small town existence. Like I said, it was well worth any money I spent and any carbs I consumed. The one thing I can't give up is my sushi. I only have it twice a year and it's my big treat. I can keep from eating Thanksgiving and Christmas goodies, but not sushi.

Cheers!

OK, kids, the poop saga continues. Poop saga...GROSS!!! After 2 weeks of severe contipation, several tablespoons of VCO, lots of fiber/water and finally 3 doses of Milk of Magnesia, I believe I'm FINALLY unconstipated. Woohoo!!! The problem is, after f*ing around so much with my digestive tract, I now have diarrhea. If it's not one thing, it's another, dammit! But, I feel lighter!!! I'm hoping something positive shows on the scale. This constipation caused me to go from 178 to 185. DEPRESSING!! So, now, if you want to say to me, "Jen, you're full of sh!t." You're too damn late!

Cheers!

Febe, I am feeling sooo much better! I think constipation is right behind sinus infection for the worst ailment. Those two things make me extremely miserable. I'm hoping to keep my fiber intake up now and keep things a-movin'.

I had one badness today. UGHHHH! I'm so mad at myself, it wasn't even worth it! I ate a Twix bar from my kids' Halloween stuff. It was just one of the tiny ones, but I'm so mad at myself for doing it! I just had to last until tomorrow and I'd have been home free. DH is taking the candy to his office. But, nooooooo. It wasn't good, but I just had to be sure. WHY do I do this to myself???

Cheers!

Yay, Febe! I love this graphic!! Andrea is so great.

OK, I'm going to slither into the confessional, now. Feel free to turn on the blinding spotlight...I deserve it.

I kind of went on an "I've had it" rampage last night. It had been a stressful day with the kids and we had been cooped up in the house all day. I had the damn Halloween candy, that DH was supposed to take to work, staring me in the face. It started with 1 Twix, then two. Moved on to eating a home-made pancake with real syrup and culminated in a LC food binge. I'm not proud of myself. I'm glad it's over. I'm bloated and uncomfortable. It made me realize why I chose to eat LC. My awesome-fitting size 14 jeans are tight right now, and I didn't weigh myself this morning because I knew it would probably cause me to spiral out of control. I ate a good breakfast, a good lunch and a good snack. I've been drinking my water and I've planned a good dinner. I also went grocery shopping last night and picked up tons of fresh veggies, tuna, salad dressings, pistachios, a whole chicken and some neat cheeses. I'm back on the horse and I'm digging my spurs into its sides. And awayyyy, I go!!!!

Cheers!

We will do this, Sus! I know it!

Well, I definitely lost a couple of pounds today. Not really how I wanted to, but it happened anyway. I went to get my hair cut and the stylist cut off about a foot or more. Literally. My hair was to my waist and it's now to my collar. It's about 4-5" shorter than I wanted it, but what the heck. Nothing I can do about it now, eh? LOL!

Today was a better day. I think I went a little over on LC food, but you know, anything is better than the past 2 days. I think I'll venture to weigh on Friday, just to see where I stand. If I weigh before then, I'm sure I'll just see a water-weight gain. UGH!

Anyway, I'm off to relax. It's been a trying day.

Cheers!

We can...we will... we ARE!

Sorry about your hair, Sweetie. Have you decided, after the shock, that you like it? You are being a very good sport about this.

Have a good morning, I'll write you later.

Sus!! How are you and Jordy-bun doing? Been thinking about you two. I started an email to you today, but Sidney demanded to play trains and thus I was pulled away. She's such a little busy-bug all the time. Must be nice to have that kind of energy!

Oh, I found a new breakfast addition!! They're All Bran Bran Buds w/psyllium husks in them! I eat 1/3 cup of them with my omelet/coffee for breakfast, then I have 2 big glasses of water. Today I was full until 2pm! I was mad that I forgot to eat, but impressed a little bit, too. LOL! They have 10 or 11g carbs/third cup, but I can afford that in my carb allotment, and they're yummy!!

I did good again today! Whew! Stepped on the scale and was back to 179. What a relief! I'd gained 5# from my little carb frolic. I really need to do some deep soul searching this week and figure out what my binge trigger is and why I get in 'sabotage mode' every once in a while. I really hate when I get my WTF attitude going. I need to get it under control and try to prevent it.

Well, I'm off to swing my new hairdo in the mirror and try to figure out if it's me. Personally, I think it belongs on someone a hell of a lot perkier than me!

Cheers!
