Thanks. I'm pretty happy now. But have to keep going on with it.
I am very glad I did this cause it has me back into the daily tracking again.

well, it was a full 6 weeks. but that's more than 1# a week, and I can deal with it.
Looking forward to the next 6 weeks. (I like that time frame for tracking, and making adjustments)

I am soooo MAD at myself!
after all my hard work for 6 weeks, never missing a meeting, and breaking the 200 marker this morning at Curves - I forgot to go to the last meeting. I can't believe it!!!

What a bummer!! I was just sitting home alone - DH was late - and I had made a real nice dinner and noone was here to eat it. And I just completely forgot the meeting until about 7:55 - and that is when it is over. I am so bummed.

well, today was a pretty good food day.
this is the number for the last 2 days"

Tue. cal = 1215 carb = 34 net carb = 24 protein = 88 fat = 62%
m.cereal,cucumber,atkins shake,pork chop, salad, green beans, cheese,pecans

Wed. cal = 1471 carb = 49 net carb = 34 protein = 86 fat = 58%
cot ch/raspberries,chef salad, cucumber, walnuts,goulash, LC yogurt

tonight we are having pasta (Dreamfields) with spag (meat) sauce and cheese - a goulash that everyone likes.
had my veggies, feelin' good.

Lot of work today, but that is good.

today was a pretty good day, although it seemed to drag on.
ended up quiting work early - Brian is leaving for vacation tomorrow, and we all went out to Olive Garden for dinner (early)
not a clue what my ending number are for the day, but I feel pretty good about todays choices.
had cheese/bacon omelet for breakfast,
a curves shake after the workout,
shrimp/curry dip for lunch
a yellow pepper for snack -
and chicken parmegiana, little salad, and spinach/artichoke dip at Olive Garden.
and a RS mint for dessert.

so, even not knowing, the rest of the day was good enough that I shouldn't care too much.

I'll miss my 'little' boy (he's 22) ,and we get to babysit the puppy for a week. what fun!

My little boy (22) left for a week in Florida. He's in college, has one year left of undergrad - and we are sponsoring this little vacation for him. He's been going year round for 2-1/2 years, and working very hard.
So, we're financing, and he has my car besides. That was the plan anyhow, but his car is sitting in the driveway with a flat it got yesterday. So I am vehicle-less until we get it fixed. well, I can drive the pickup...
I would ride the bike up to curves this morning, but it is icky outside again. moist, a little chance of showers. I;ll see how it looks in a little bit.

barely hear from my daugher anymore (19). she has moved to KY, is working a lot, and just doesn't contact us much. I think school has fallen by the wayside, and she won't say so. But that happens. maybe it is just delayed. Gonna affect the insurance stuff though and we need to get that straightened out.

food was okay yesterday.
cal = 1322 carb = 43 net carb = 30 prot = 97 fat = 61%
little higher on the carbs than I wanted, but a bad day at work and I splurged on a little 4oz cup of LC ice cream. but I had a big salad and a yellow pepper too.

starting out today with m. cereal and some p-husks. Been pretty blocked up lately and been bouncing around a couple lbs up again.

good day today. Workout at Curves, then grocery shopping, then just nuttin' - watching the dogs getting used to each other. I think they have settled down a lot and we will have a decent week. Not so much fighting going on.

food
cal = 1403 carb = 47 net carb = 33 protein = 110 fat = 57%
m.cereal, curves shake, skyline chili, chef salad/mayo, cucumber

bought some lc ice cream bars, but no space for it today. Maybe tomorrow.

weight seems to have settled at 197.5 - again settling in for awhile.

Sunday -
cal = 1479 carb = 58 net carb = 28 protein = 99 fat = 64%
had a little too many shortcuts yesterday.
cott cheese/raspberries, cucumber, LC ice cream bar, 1-1/2 cheeseburger, salad/french, apple crisp bar, vanilla shake

OMG - that Atkins Endulge ice cream bar!!!! I was in heaven. gonna have to take it easy on those for sure. I did only have one - but also ended up with a Atkins shake and an apple crisp bar.

We just ate dinner too early yesterday, and I was starving by evening. obviously, if it wasn't for those, my levels would have been too low anyhow.
Didn't really get a lunch - we went to a movie at noon. no treats there though.

I do know I have to start some more exercise than just the Curves 3x week. I'm pretty sure thats why I keep settling. Can't seem to get into the rebounder - tonight I'm going to do the walking tape again. The dogs will just have to stay out of the way. Need to get on the bike too, but my back has been spasming for a couple days. gonna give that a little more rest.

Saw dr. this morning - he's just going to take the screw out. only take about 10 minutes (but several weeks to get it scheduled) he says not to worry about it, so guess I'll stop.

decided to just go and have a higher carb day. all this discussion on calories still confuses me. I can't seem to get them higher unless I just go whole-hog. I feel like a piggy today. Pretty much stuck to the low-carb foods, but that doesn't mean anything when it's all the 'prepared' stuff. I know it. but, then heres what I did

cal = 1747 carb = 89 net carb = 67 protein = 97 far = 62%
atkins shake, yellow pepper, chef salad (ham/cheese/mayo), lc ic bar, cheese & crackers(triscuit), then a PB&J sandwich (carb option PB, SF blueberry jam, pf lc bread)

tomorrow will get back to the real stuff. thought maybe this will shake it all up again.
yes, when I play eucre - I;m one of those people who do the weird shuffle just to change up the cards. Can't leave anything alone!

tonight I need to cut up some more veggies.

Yeah, I had a higher carb day, too. I had some NSA ice cream last night, and tried one of those Hershey's 1-carb bars. Not too bad.

I'm going to try Curves tonight for the first time in about 2 months. I know I won't be able to do the machines using both arms, but at least I'll be off my butt doing something.

Are yellow peppers sweet, Mary Kay? I've never tried one.

Hi April.
hope you get a good time at Curves. You do so much besides (walking, housework) that you're already working out.

I think yellow peppers are quite sweet. Can't do green or red (some people say the red are, but I don't see it). I eat yellow ones as a treat. Sweet, refreshing. I slice up about 4 of them into separate little bags and just munch on them. I've been doing them separately as a snack, but think I need to have some cheese with it - sounds like I need the mix just as much as I need a veggie. Still so confused on food togetherness sometimes.
