b - cottage cheese/raspberries
s - curves shake
l - chipped beef rollups/cream cheese

what the heck - it was a holiday dinner. DH cooked up the

excuses, excuses, but all in all, not a horrible day.
nothing really hateful or full of sugar.
Higher carbs than I wanted, but considering the steak and all -
not bad on the protein.

I can see body history being different between many of us, and also what may be the reason for my slow loss. I have never been a real low weight in my life.
I left 7th grade at 140, was 180 when I graduated from high school and just kept going from there. I did manage to get down to 145 when in college - but that was from not eating and playing tennis/racquetball a lot during that time.

So I have never seen the low weights many have - it has always been a battle for me. and continues to be.
I was down at 150 around 15 years ago but was on severe diet pills for 6 months - until I started blacking out and ended up in the hospital. This was on a doctor prescription. Found out later these pills should not have been used more than a month at a time. D*mn doctor didn't even check on me when I ended up in the emergency room. Last time I ever went to him.
And , gained it all back pretty darn quick.

Just wanted to get my history down - that is why I think I am such a glacier. It's just in my genes.

I ahve never been successful with any weight loss journey--quit before I got very far. . .due to lack of success so this is my first real drop of any significant weight amount and while I have the genetics for slow weight loss (PCOS and seeming Insulin Resistance) I have miraculously had great success, but I know you can do this too! Slow and steady will get you to the end jsut as successfully as those of us who go in a bigger hurry! And possibly more successfully in the long run than those of us who seem to be in a hurry now! Keep it up--you are making progress!!!!!

Did a good workout at Curves, got dizzy at the end.

My favorite numbers -
cals around 1400-1500 area
fat around 55% - 60%
carbs around 45-55 (net)
protein around 95-100

This seems to be where I feel the best. this week (Tue-Tue) was quite good. started out with a couple induction days, and that helped, but then up to these numbers and I feel pretty darn good. Lost 1.5 lb last week. Am kicking my own butt at Curves. Need to get out on the bike more. Broke 200, and my clothes are fitting MUCH better. Very close to needing new jeans, holding off until I get to 16s. Wouldn't that be nice. Right now, workout clothes are the best thing for wearing anyhow.

For those of you who knew one of my stress points ---
My son had now broken up with the 'love of his life' 16 yo. (he is 22)
Yeah!! Yipee!! lot less to worry about now. Could just see him in jail some day.

the reason - she was too immature. DUH!!! you know that move where you smack them on the back of the head - virtually doing that to him. If I really did, he's get mad at me.

cal = 1038 carb = 71 net carb = 55 prot = 89

b - m cereal
s - curves shake
l - cottage chees/berries , cucumbers/sour cream
s - popcorn (movie)
d - lean ham sandwich (lc bread, lettuce)
s - atkins shake

lets just move on from today. DH asked me to a movie in the middle of the week.
and thought I'd have a little popcorn. Shouldn't have, wasn't even really wanting it,
but it was a movie! so I did. My lips hurt, but then again -
I didn't get a mid afternoon snack, and I'm not hungry tonight so did the best I could
for dinner. Had the shake cause I couldn't see having only 800+ calories, but I was
done eating.
not weighing until Saturday.
Figure I'll weigh Tuesday (curves weigh day) and Saturday (just to keep me in line for the weekend )

Yeah. I know. It was even worse before I threw in the Atkins shake. I just am stuffed at this point. really didn't need that, but then the calories were way down there. I don't think I could eat anything else if I wanted to.
so, gonna get a good nights sleep and plan a little better tomorrow.

cal = 1724 carb = 50 net carb = 46 prot = 128

b - mock danish, yogurt smoothie
s - curves shake
l - shrimp/curry sauce
s - cucumber, 4 triscits/cheese
d - steak, split peas
s - 1/2 pc cheesecake

well, made up for yesterdays lack of calories. I knew this was coming, and wasn't going
to not have fun today.

Our Curves had a field trip tonight to a local comedy club. around 80 of us in matching
purple t-shirts. It was a blast. I may suffer from the cheesecake (no, it wasn't LC) -
but enjoyed it all the same.

Horrible day as far as veggies - I'll make up for that tomorrow.
had a couple olives in my vodka ... forgot to list that!

I felt like such a little piggy last night, and did have a tummy ache although not a bad one. But the scale this morning still showed the solid 199, so didn't seem to be too much damage. I just don't have the water fluctuation like some have.

Today is going to be a more veggie day. although DH informed me he is defrosting some steaks for grilling, I'll make it the rest of the day. And going to Curves this morning since I missed yesterday. Had a dr appt and decided I needed a haircut - and since I was going out wanted it THEN!! only so much time can be taken off work. Yes, I work alone, but no work, no pay. and I have some critical stuff going on at clients right now.

so, today - veggies galore. water galore. curves - and push it, baby.

cal = 1325 carb = 61 net carb = 50 prot = 111

b - m cereal
s - curves shake (after curves workout)
l - salad - spinach, lettuce, cucumber
s - atkins shake
s - lc ic sandwich
d - steak, green beans

was doing fine until this afternoon, although tummy was painfully bloated today.
probably from the cheesecake last night. wasn't worth it.
and dinner was delayed cause DH wanted to grill, and he didn't get home until
6:30, so I filled up with shake and an ice cream sandwich. Stupid, stupid -
cause then the steak and greenbeans have made me past being full and I am miserable
again.

tomorrow should be a light day - will get on on bike, and have to stop thinking I have
to eat so much. Yes, my numbers are up, but I feel too full and that is wrong.
