I wanted to let you know that I also like the fruit and had a hard time giving it up...so I didn't. I love bannanas wayyyyy to much! Bannanas and peanut butter and apples and peanut butter!! YUM! (I found a great low carb peanut butter made with splenda that I really enjoy) I do wonder sometimes how fast I would be losing if I cut out the fruits and my weekly (or sometimes twice weekly!) bowl of oatmeal with strawberries. I am losing weight on a steady, regular basis and I incorporated daily excercise into my routine, and I think the excercise gives me a little more leeway in my food chocies. Like you said, you have to incorporate a way of eating that you can stick to and not feel deprived, thats how I feel too. So with the oatmeal, I found a brand that is lower on the glycemic index and I kept it in my diet. You do what you feel is right and healthy for you!!
