today is day 31 no sugar.... yesterdays counts were a little higher than I would have liked... too many flax seed tortilla chips, but it was a good carb and my body needed it....clearing out a lot of stuff

no breakfast at this point, might wait and have a piece of ham and cheese, early lunch today, it is the monthly luncheon.... I have my taco salad mixings to have, a couple of strawberries and some sf jello... that should help me get over anything they have for sweet treats at lunch (i know there will be something I shouldn't eat....)
    thats it for now

Today is day 33, no sugar, and eating on plan.

I have been busy and tired the last few days, so havn't felt like posting.
havn't felt like much tho I did get in water aerobics and volleyball yesterday, tho dh tried to get me to go to bed at 12:30 last night (fell asleep on the chair) and I didn't get up till 2am opps... not sure when I fell asleep.. probably between 11 and 1130...

meeting with my Avon manager today for lunch to work on the next few campaigs on incentives.....trying to get our district to win an award that takes all year to get.. we are currently 25,000 dollars in sales over last years, totals and I believe we need to be 100,000 over at the end of the year....

no plans for the weekend, getting together with one of my girlfriends on sat afternoon....but other than that the normal gym sat morning, sunday afternoon, cook for dh sat and sund dinners, and prep food...for next week.

Carolyn, I think you have conquered that sugar demon! At least you're keeping him at bay, which is a great accomplishment. If I'm going to cheat, it'll be with sugar before it's with starch. Hate that sweet tooth!

    Keep it up!

I spent last week trying the best I could, not sure what is happening, maybe I am feeling "tired" of my food, of everything (not really everything) seeming just food choices are a little dull for me....Not really eating that bad....but not the greatest....looking at some paperwork on weight watchers.... did them years ago... not sure I want to switch .always felt like I needed more protien when I did ww or other "low cal" diets...... need to really get on the "stick" and just bite the bullet and do what I did when I started this way of eating ..... be really strict with what I am eating and no more "i can have a little of thats"

I made a great pot of chili this weekend, Corned beef and cabbage, hard boiled eggs, bought a cooked chicken from costco, so there is plenty of good food waiting for me to eat it this week... and hopefully I will follow thru with not eating what I shouldn't...

    So today is day one
induction....no sugar.... regular workouts, .... drinking lots of water....

breakfast was coffee, cream, splenda and one hard boiled egg (second one is sitting next to my desk in case I get hungry)
Lunch will be salad with ham, cheese, artichoke hearts, pepperoicini peppers, cukes, tomato (cherubs a couple) and salad dressing.
Not sure what dinner is... chili, or chicken...and left over veggies....

thats it for now....need to get my head out of the ground and see what is happening to me....
    enough is enough...

Carolyn, it's easy to get into a rut with our food choices. I know, I've been there. You go open the fridge and stand there, seeing all kinds of food, but you just don't want any of the same old things. It's probably time to look for some new choices, try something different, or cook the old standards in a different way, or with a different sauce or topping. I even had cottage cheese for a couple of breakfasts, once with the cherub tomatoes, and it was very good, too.

We'll always be here for you, regardless of what plan you choose to follow.
