Hey, Carolyn! I might be a closer neighbor to you than I am now! I will know by the end of next week if we are going to be moving to Waco. I'll give you more details this weekend when I have more time. I've gotta get to bed now.

weekend wasn't too bad, got in a lot of exercise, but did have a few extras I shouldn't have, sunday was a good food day
today is proving to be really good...
somehow the weekend seem to be my downfall...
i need to remember that just cause its a weekend, doesn't give me the freedom to eat what I want....
going to try a weekend challenge for the next weekend and see if I can make it thru without overindulging/

C-I think the Waco deal went sour, but I'm not sure...they are talking about alternative measures, so who knows! I'll let you know when we find out something definite. That would be way cool, wouldn't it!

Been a week since I got a chance to write, busy, dh had angigram last week, he will have to have some vascular surgury probably next week....
sunday did a bunch of cooking, meat balls, chicken salad, some veggies, had fun cooking again.(he usually does most of our cooking), this will give him a break while recuperating this week, and getting ready for next...
food... mmmm, I am still having a problem getting thru more than 4-5 days in a row on track... not sure what it is, but am still trying to get a handle on it.
bought all the things to do a master cleanser fast, not sure when I will start, maybe next monday will be a good day to start....
swam this am, plotted out my food for the week, hopefully will be able to make it thru till next monday without going off track too much.

Tks for stopping by Kim, dh has already had tripple by pass, as well as femorial by pass (legs) five back surguries.... He is a trouper (reasons he isn't working any more and gets disability - used to be a printer, and can't stand long any more).... he goes in on friday the 29th for them to roter out his right
leg bypass, if it needs to be replaced once he is in there he will take care of it....three days in hospital then home to recuperate.

going on three days of eating right....hopefully I can keep this up for more than five days, seems to be my limit these days, but am going camping this weekend and will not take anything I shouldn't have with me.....

getting my work outs in, need to start adding a little more (work is going to have two days a week jazzercise classes starting in may) am planning on taking that class....

with dh down after surgury, I am going to concentrate my sundays on cooking in bulk for the week and make it easy for him and me (he is the primary cook in the house since he is home all day) to just nuke something after I get home from work, make a salad, some veggies, etc.....

looking forwardto getting away this weekend and looking at the lake, going to lake sommerville here in texas... about6 of us are going together, one boat, and just looking to reading, playing some games, walking.,, etc....
later

writing everything down, staying between 40-70 carbs per day.
getting in two fruits, and at least three veggies....

went shoping for campout yesterday and found some carbfocus air popped
potato chips ( Was looking for the flax seed tortilla chips, but not there)
bought 4 packages, if i have to munch this weekend will at least have something that isnt too bad....
small packages and they are pre-weighed - measusred, etc.

menu for weekend is:
friday night - roast pork loin with salad and veggies
saturday breakfast, eggs, and breakfast sausage with lc tortillas if wanted
lunch ham sandwiches - with lc bread, lettuce, tomato, pickles,
sat night - grilled chicken with salad

snack - guacamole with lc chips

fruits - strawberries

sunday breakfast, same as saturday,

sunday lunch - heading home... maybe stop on the road for lunch.

plan to go to gym friday morning, and then do some walking friday when we get to the lake....
walk on sat morning after breakfast, and in the afternoon
walk on sunday morning and before we leave....

that should take care of exercise and food....
looking forward to getting away for a couple of days...
not have any food calling my name..... lol.... maybe calling but hopefully I won't be able to hear them....

Yesterday was alittle high on my carb count, but my calories were ok, today gonna try to eat light to make up for the higher carb count.
looking forward to camping out and having some time away from the city....
having a good time visiting with friends, playing cards, dice, dominoes. or what ever we want to do....
till monday

Carolyn, wish I was camping this weekend too. But the weather is calling for rain and maybe even snow. Good job planning out your meals in advance. Have fun!

we had cool weather, friday, front came in but didn't get too cool, mid to low 60's, no rain like predicted, but lots of wind all weekend. Guys didn't get to boat as much because of the wind... made lake too choppy. had a great time relaxing, naping, walking, reading (half way thru divinci code.... )
cooking and eating good food.... didn't cheat, didn't eat any sweets, let dh eat the brownies and cookies I brought for him, didn't even have a taste...
knew a taste would have been too much for me to handle.
anyway, yesterday sun was out, no wind got a boat ride on lake, and now have a pink (almost red) nose was in the 80's yesterday when we were putting the pop up down....
stoped on the way home and got breakfst/lunch/dinner - one meal was enough, just munched on ham and cheese last night. small orange and little of strawberries and cream.

Carb focus air popped potato chips... oh my god, they are wonderful, 9carbsper serving, three per bag, tastes like very light potato chips, you can taste the potato flavor real well....
didn't over do it on them, brought four bags, shared, and came home with two bags... so...
thats it for now will stop back later

Yahoo, another day gone, no sugar, feel like I am going to get back on track
easier that it has been in a while, going a week at a time is a lot easier than
100 days.... so I am shooting or the 100, but only going 1 week at a time.
