Default A Renewed Approach

Gonna start with tomorrow to get back on track 100%. I am having trouble keeping it together when I am not home or at work (where I bring my own foods.) So.... As of 11/2, am going to make a real concerted effort, I would like to lose another 10-15 lbs before christmas - know it will be hard, but, i can do it.
so:
Tomorrow will be posting food, and exercises here
at least this hasn't been that bad, I have maintained at about 55 lbs gone, but I know I can be doing better.

Ended yesterday with only 3 quarts of water, dh made a wonderful roast last night ate some with broccoli, and spinach and some green beens with mushrooms and cream (my own gb cassarole)
then ate some left over halloween candy , asked dh this am to put them in a tin so I can't see it and hide it so I can't find it....
only way to not eat them is to get them out of my vision.
did swim one mile this am, and already got in my 2 quarts of water....
going to try to get in another before I leave work today....

C-thank you so much for the offer of lodging in your home....you are the sweetest! The same offer is extended to you....we have a guest room and live just outside the DFW metroplex. If you're ever going to be in "town", please let me know.

I remember you were trying to get a group together last summer to meet....just the Texas people. I got busy and forgot about it! Sorry! I know there's a guy named Dan that lives in Ft.Worth, and I think Peg lives in Texas, too. You and I are alot closer in proximity than the others. Maybe we should plan a meet-ya-halfway lunch one weekend. Where is halfway between where you are in Austin and Arlington (almost Mansfield) where I am?
I'm kinda in the same place mentally where you are.....I know I need to focus. It's just real hard sometimes! Take care.

DH had dr apt so he had car and came and got me at lunch, so we stopped by jason's deli for something to eat... he had a reuben sandwich, and I got salad bar, lots of lettuce, cukes, tom, caulif, olives, hard boiled eggs, bacon, cheese.... oh was it great... had a tiny bit of cottage cheese, small amt of coleslaw (didn't taste like it had too much sugar) a little of their asian chicken salad and three spoonfuls of ice cream - I know I should not have had that but oh well....
have a meeting at 6pm, so won't get home till prob. 8pm, then eating dinner late... left overs from this weekend.

Last night was indeed a challenge, but I made it... went to an Avon meet and greet gathering, and there were veggies, cheese, large sandwich cut in to small slices, apple cider and cookies.
I only had some cheese, olives, tomatoes (cherry or grape ones) and
a piece of te sandwich with out the bread.
no apple cider, just my water... then as I was leaving a couple of grapes.
went home and ate some left over meat balls with some dreamfield pasta and a little four cheese sauce.
didn't getin enough water, but that was ok,... didn't eat any of those cookies at the meeting....
so...
I am happy with yesterdays food.

Made it thru last night without sugar
so.... day one of no sugar... going to a camping, eating feast this weekend and have to be extra strong cause everyone likes to eat sweets there....
last night dh made home made sloppy joes, didn't use a packet or can mix and it was great, lots of garlic... need to remind him how good it was.
had salad with mine and only had one slice of my lc bread .... usually have two... that was ok
was really pleased with my eating yesterday.

C-it sounds like you're on track. The camping thing sounds fun, outside the temptation factor. You'll just have to pack up some goodies for yourself! Where do ya'll go to camp? All our weather people are predicting some drizzle and cold weather for the weekend. I'll be home alone. DH will be in Breckenridge at the deer lease, and DD will be with Granny.

Keep up the good work!

Tks for stopping by Maxi, actually our camping is going to be at a friends house, they have a large (i mean like an acre +) back yard that a bunch of us will be putting out our campers/tents/rv. etc... so while we will be sleeping out there is a house we can go into for bathroom, cooking, etc... Two couples went to alaska for 6 months this summer, and they are back so we are having a welcome back party for them... like i said it will be a food feast... lots of food, lots of people, music (a lot of us are musicians) and just general fun...

I got thru yesterday without any sugar... two days.... I am planning on bring some sugar free jello with me this weekend, and I even have some lc blueberry muffins, and lc brownies in the freezer, might have to pull them out and bring so I won't be tempted with the other sugar foods that will probably be there.
Finished yesterday with a wonderful pork chop dh baked, and ate salad and cauliflower with it... mmmm it was good.
only got in 3 quarts of water, was down one, but that was ok.
swam my mile....
today I have had some eggs, smokies (cocktail sausage) and a LC tortilla with a little hot sauce (made my own breakfast taco)
coffee, cream, splenda and two quarts of water already in
went to gym for water aerobics this am.

later gaters
