Hi Donna! I haven't posted in your journal in a long time. Dropping the coffee sounds like your stall buster huh? That's great, so encouraging!

Your muffins sound really good. I'm going to make some. I bought the biscuit mix ages ago and thought they were very "eggy" tasting. But the way you've done this sounds great.

I'm still plugging away myself. I hit my 2 year LC anniversary on March 18th. I still struggle. I switched to CALP thinking I needed a change from Atkins because I was stalled so long. I have lost a little. Christmas did me in, I gained, I've lost 13 lbs since January 5th. It's not much, but, it's a loss. The inches are coming off faster than the pounds!

Keep up the good work. You'll get there! I've decided I can't go back to my old ways, I don't ever want to be that weight again.

Take care.
Karen

Donna,

Are you okay? I haven't seen any posts from you in a while and I'm a little worried. Hope everything is okay and you've just been too busy to post.

Donna,

Sorry to hear that you're having such a rotten day. I understand about the smiles - there are days we all could use a few more! Just hang in there - you can have 2 more tomorrow! :jump:

Donna - Sorry about the smilies thing. What you can do to avoid losing a long post is hit select all in the body of the text and then copy. If the post doesn't go through all you have to do is open a new reply box and hit paste.

i have been told god will not put more on you than

i wonder does that mean he will keep putting it on until you collapse
in the little bottom i live on this end there is 8 houses

i like her well she has been sick and today i get a call (7 am)
from hubby's other aunt telling-me i need to go to my in-laws
they have to call her and tell her her sister ( the nice aunt)
is ate up with cancer and cant be helped

my mil and her sister have been though so much in their lives
mil is 3 (i think)years older then her sister
and she has raised her
her dad throw her mother out and he was never home
mil would dress her little sister up take her by the hand and take her to school with her the little sister was to young for school
iml talks about how she would have to push a milk crate to the stove to stand on to learn to cook for them
one day they was playing by the railroad track and a car came by and someone jumped out grabbed them and put them in the car
it was their mother and new step father and their new 1/2 brother
from them on mil was the oldest and the one to take care of all the 6 children
work like a mule
i wish she had it all wrote down
what a movie it would make
anyway i am rambling again
the sick aunt is her only full blooded sibling and like a child to her
so i had to go down and be there when the other aunt called
my mil is still not over her stroke it has been a coupler years and i dont think she will get any better
she is getting worse my father in law is some better he is fighting cancer
there is not much help with them from other ppl
hubby is wearing him self to a bone
and then my mom is sick going for so many test
she is telling me the docs dont want her living by her self anymore

my father called letting-me know-he is getting old and falling apart
my brother is in some trouble i cant go in to but i am very worried
and trying to help him and i say when does it stop!!!

Red face Re: kystar's rambling

Donna,

I am so sorry to here about your troubles. I can testify from first hand experience that God dosen't allow us to face more than we can bear - but that also means that we have to ask Him to give us the strength we need to bear it. Please know that I'll be praying for you and your family. I'm an only child and I know what it's like to have the pressure of taking care of extended family while still trying to cope with the every day pressures.

Keep pressing on and stay on track with the diet. You've been doing so good! The last thing you'll need is the sugar swings to go with everything else!

Hope your trip to Michigan goes smoothly and that you have safe travel. I'll be hoping to hear from you soon.
